ABOUT ME

I am enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Sports Administration. As part of my journalism degree, I am pursuing a certificate in sports communication and am a Director for Sports Xtra, UNC’s student-run sportscast.

I have ample broadcast production knowledge and have been crewed on ESPNU, ACC Network, and MiLB.tv broadcasts. Some of my areas of experience include directing/ technical directing live events, running replays on Evertz’ Dreamcatcher and Newtek’s 3Play, fix-position and hand-held camera operation, and graphics operation.

EXPERIENCE

September 2021 - Present

Production Assistant

Go Heels Productions

  • Contribute to the production of 6-8 broadcasts of UNC athletic events a month for distribution to ESPN, the ACC Network, and ACC Network Extra.
    • Arrive 2-3 hours before every game to pre-produce pregame and halftime segments with on-air talent.
    • Crewed as a Director, Technical Director, Replay Operator, Camera Operator, Graphics Operator, and Utility.
  • Manage the in-venue videoboard at athletic events and execute promotions in coordination with the marketing team to enhance fan experience.

May 2023 - August 2023

Broadcast Production Intern

Hudson Valley Renegades

  • Produced 39 broadcasts of Renegades’ games during the 2023 regular season for distribution to MiLB.tv and the Bally Live App
    • Built all elements for the broadcast, including the open, replay front ends, and motion graphics.
    • Most-watched High-A and Single-A team and saw a 278% growth in unique viewers.
  • Produced and directed the Renegades’ pregame show that aired live 2 hours before every home game on YouTube and Facebook

Sussex County Miners

Video Production Intern

  • Assisted in the production of 20 broadcasts of Miners’ games during the 2022 regular season for distribution to FloSports
    • Crewed as a Director, Technical Director, Camera Operator, and Graphics Operator.
    • Saw a 40% increase in unique viewership.
  • Operated the in-venue videoboard for five games and designed themed graphics for promotions.
